Grilled Fish and Chips with Homemade Tartare Sauce
Ingredients:
– 2 x side fillets of Cod frozen
– 2 x portions of frozen oven chips
– 250g of frozen peas
Defrost the frozen fish fillets (click here for the best and safest way to defrost frozen fish).
Gently heat some oil in a char grill pan and place the fillets of fish face down. Pan fry each side and after 5-6 minutes take out of pan and let the fish rest on a piece of kitchen roll. Next: place the oven chips in a pre-heated oven for the time specified on the packet. Boil a pan of water and cook the frozen peas for 8 minutes and drain.
Finally place the grilled fish back in the oven for the last 5-6 minutes of cooking time for the chips.
