I have egg rolls and pot stickers that are 2 years old in freezer. Are they ok to eat? We fried some egg rolls and they were good. Thanks, Carla
Thank you for your question Carla. You don’t mention if these egg rolls and pot stickers were bought frozen or if you froze them yourself. Freezing keeps food safe almost indefinitely, and recommended storage times are mostly for quality. If the egg rolls and pot stickers were bought as pre-packaged frozen foods, and have not been defrosted since and your freezer is working as it should, they may still be ok to eat. To be on the safe side, we recommend you to check the quality and odour of the frozen food items once thawed. A list of maximum storage times can be found on our storing, defrosting and cooking frozen foods safely page.
