I cooked a raw frozen pie for my family but then we did not eat it. Is it safe to put it back into the freezer now that it has been properly cooked?

It should be perfectly safe to freeze your pie after it is cooked. This is a good way of ensuring that you reduce the amount of food you waste. Do make sure that you allow the pie to cool completely before you freeze it otherwise you will raise the temperature of the surrounding frozen foods and this may affect their quality. Also, do make sure you package the food well and this will limit the amount of air that gets into contact with the frozen pie.
