how do i freeze onions?

Freezing onions saves time during the meal making you don't have to chop everything during the meal preparation. All you have to do is pull them out of the freezer and measure out what you need for your recipe!

To freeze your onions just peel the outer hard skin from the onion and remove ends. Slice the onion into 4 to 6 slices width wise. You should be able to get four to five slices out of each onion. Then dice into small pieces. Next you place the diced onion into a freezer bag. Press all the air out of the bag and seal it tightly. Date the the bag. Thank you for your question.
