frozen food is sometimes cheaper than fresh food so can I buy it frozen and then just keep it in my fridge as if it is fresh is fresh food? thanks, H

Almost sounds like the beginning of a riddle!

The short answer is no. Best to keep frozen foods frozen due to loss of essential  vitamins and minerals and longevity. However, you can defrost your food and keep it in the fridge, but you would need to eat it within a day or two of being defrosted. Check out the defrosting do’s and don’ts of freezing.
