Frozen Food Competition Results

Over the course of the next year, theNewIceAge will be offering our visitors and all those interested in frozen foods the chance to win a number of fantastic prizes.

Last year we gave away a visit for two to The Icehotel in Sweden and a £150 voucher for use in the belowzero restaurant + lounge as well as vouchers for use in the ABSOLUT ICEBAR. We also gave away freezers to store your frozen food. So, watch this space for more competitions centrered around the frozen food theme!

First Prize

An amazing three night stay for two at the ICEHOTEL in Jukkajarvi, Sweden. Flying from London Heathrow to Kiruna, Sweden on behalf of Discover the World. Second Prize

A £150 voucher for use in the belowzero restaurant + lounge as well as 2 x £15 vouchers for use in the ABSOLUT ICEBAR. The winner for this suitably frozen prize at the Ice Bar was Veronica Stevens from Chelmsford, Essex!

So, thanks to everyone for entering the frozen food competitions! And thanks to everyone in taking such an interest in all our news and information about frozen foods. The competitions had an amazing uptake and prize winners enjoyed their prizes.  We can't think of anything more appropriate for frozen food than the beautiful landscapes of Sweden! Our Ice Wall was designed to show everyone that frozen food has been around for centuries. Frozen food has been around for centuries and the Ancient Chines used to feeze food 3,000 years ago! Frozen food is an entirely natural phenomena and the frozen food process needs no preservatives unlike other preservation techniques such as canning.
