We had a great response to this competition and were very impressed by the frozen recipes and waste/time saving tips that were entered! Here are two of our winning entries:

"When I have to use lemon or lime juice in recipies I always seem to waste either the zest or the lemon. I now grate the zest into freezer bags and pop in the freezer. Next time I need some lemon or lime zest, rather than wasting a lemon just for the zest I take some out of the freezer! No waste, job done!"

"All my various left over frozen veg I put in one pan once a month and make a vegetable soup."
