my mom made the best meat pies.. she passed away 6 years ago and I still have 3 of the pies she made me in the freezer.. I just haven't been able to throw them away for sentimental reasons and was wondering if they would be okay to thaw and eat..

Hello, your Mum must have been an excellent cook. I can understand you might not want to throw them away but we would not advise eating them. If you want to keep them in your freezer the pies will last indefinitely. However, home frozen foods do not last as long as pre-packaged frozen meals.
