You know us, we’d recommend to buy ready frozen prawns. It will be safe to freeze prawns from the sea in their shells, as long as you take some precautions. Ensure they are kept cool and frozen as quickly as possible after you have bought them. Then place the prawns in a freezer suitable container, trying to keep as much air out as possible, and put them at the back of your freezer.
