I bought a frozen pizza 4 days ago and put it in the fridge can I still eat it? it says do not defrost cook from frozen??

An interesting one thank you! I would say that your pizza took 12 hours to defrost properly at which point it became a ‘chilled food’ item. At this point, and if properly wrapped, I would say that it would have two or three days life in the fridge so – you’re cutting it fine!

As for the advice about cooking from frozen; this is to ensure that the frozen food product goes crispy in the oven rather than anything else. The advice to cook from frozen is not a health or safety warning but one of quality. So, your pizza is perfectly safe to eat but might not come out exactly how the manufacturers intended.
