Hi. Why do I have to use a frozen chicken within 1 month of freezing, or any meat for that matter? I have had a chicken for nearly 6 months, cooked and eaten it and it was fine. I don't understand. Thanks =)
Thanks for your question. And you’re absolutely right – why should you cook your chicken within one month of freezing it. This is not at all necessary. In fact frozen poultry can last for up to 12 months in the freezer, providing that your freezer temperature is consistent.
