Are frozen foods as fresh as un-preserved foods? Thanks Barry

Hello there Barry – as luck would have it, frozen foods are fresher than fresh! Yes! Its  true. Most “fresh” food sits around at a warehouse or storage facilities for days before arriving at your local shop and sold as “fresh”. In that time, the food has lost much of its nutritional value.

Frozen foods such as fish, spinach, peas and other vegetables are frozen within hours of being picked /fished and therefore the nutrients are locked in.
